The Objective

The project at Royal Connaught Park is a unique development in a historical setting in Bushy, Watford. The development consisted of luxury apartments set within a Grade II listed building and with over 100 acres of mature park.

Only premium grade materials have been selected, to complement the supreme quality of the original buildings and to meet the requirements of a listed building.

Developer Comer Homes wanted a manufacturer capable of supplying a number of building envelope products along with a rain water system in keeping with the original features.

The Process

The technical team reviewed the requirements of the build and carried out rain calculations for the client to ensure correct gutter and downpipe sizing.

Following these calculations it was determined that we would manufacture the Traditional Cast effect Ogee gutter and downpipe system along with various accessories.

The Result

The end result was a complete cast effect product range that complemented the overall build whilst meeting the requirements of building control.

The project also required a number of bespoke cast plinth offsets that were fabricated and powder coated in the Traditional cast effect finish.

The developer Comer Homes were delighted with our design input and correspondence with building control along with the quick turnaround from concept to design along with installation assistance.
