Kytun Lead Chimney Trays are designed to prevent water penetration into the building through the chimney stack. Kytun Lead Chimney Trays are fitted during the construction of the chimney.

For brick or block chimney stacks.
  • Regardless of the location of the chimney on the roof, the lead tray should be installed minimum of 150mm above the lowest point of intersection with the roof.
  • The tray should be bedded in a thin layer of mortar. The front section of tray is then folded down over block/brickwork to lap onto the front apron flashing.
  • We would recommend that the Lead Chimney Tray is coated with bitumen emulsion prior to installation.
  • Designed to collect water that penetrates the chimney.
  • Suitable for new build or refurbishment work.
  • Made from code 4, a material with proven characteristics to perform at the highest level in one of the most vulnerable parts of the building.
